Clearly I haven't been posting on ij for quite some time. I did try for a while, but it was really like posting into the void, while lj remained steadfastly where all the action was. I recently got my hot little hands on a dreamwidth account, however, and it looks like there may be people moving over there, or at least crossposting. It is very shiny and fandom-friendly, so I'll be interested to see what happens. I'm still posting on lj, and I'm going to be crossposting on my dreamwidth journal for the foreseeable future.
I do still check my ij flist from time to time. Nice to see who's still active over here.
Anyway. You can find me as nomelon both on livejournal and now on the ever-so-shiny-and-new dreamwidth.
And with that, I'm going to watch a Jason Statham movie. Keep on truckin'.

And at some point, I might actually get around to moving fic in to my other journals (livejournal, journalfen and greatestjournal) and updating my crappy little website too. Still, don't want to peak too soon.
So - I did not much of anything this weekend, and I did it well. And God saw that it was good. I went to see the Bourne Ultimatum, and it was okay. Lots of ( not really spoilers )
I've been banging out the next installments of fic, but while I'm satisfied with story progression, I think I'm sinking back into telling, not showing, in the worst way. So I need to go back over them when my brain feels more in gear and liven them up a little. I also need to update A Little Bit of History Repeating because I've neglected it in favour of Spike and Riley's adventures for far too long.
So, instead of being creative, I've done another meme. I think I've actually done this one before, but I'd nearly finished it before I realised that. But it's different this time. So I post regardless.

But this got me to thinking about writing cliches... Joss sneakily gave us every soap opera cliche in the book. I tried to pull together a list of the ones I could remember, and I give you:
